LOCATION
BroadHelm Park is Pocklington’s newest business park and is located adjacent to the A1079 York to Hull Road, approximately 3/4 miles to the south of Pocklington Town Centre. The site will be accessed directly from the new realigned Hodsow Lane, which will join directly with the A1079.
The site is ideally situated close to Pocklington Town Centre and is within easy reach of the city of York to the north west and Hull to the south east, approximately 13 miles and 24 miles away respectively.
POCKLINGTON
The town of Pocklington has a rural catchment population of approximately 40,000 people and is seen as one of the fastest growing areas outside of London with a total population increase between 1991 and 2001 of approximately 16% (6,000 people). In the period 1991 to 2002 the number of employees in the East Riding section of the A1079 corridor rose from 8,000 to 12,000. This is an increase of 50% (4,000 employees).
